Kings of Leon, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer were just some of the artists who made an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York over the weekend, in the fight against global poverty.
Around 60,000 people flocked to NY's Central Park on Saturday to watch several of music's biggest names perform at the second annual event, which aims to raise awareness of the fight against poverty around the world.
Alicia Keys looked incredible as she took to the stage to perform a medley of her hit singles including 'Girl On Fire,' 'Fallin',' 'New Day' and 'You Don't Know My Name,' while flaunting her recent weightloss in a bandeau crop top.

Pledging for gender equality, Alicia told the audience according to Ace Showbiz: “We're all on fire up in here. If you empower women, we're gonna change the world!”
Legendary crooner Stevie Wonder also performed just some of his biggest singles such as 'Isn't She Lovely,' 'Superstition,' 'I Just Called To Say I Love You,' 'Higher Ground' and 'Living For The City,' while he called for a change to gun laws across the States, saying: “Can you believe that they let blind people carry guns? Come on. We must do something about the gun laws in this country.”
The 63-year-old went on to sing a cover of the late John Lennon's 'Imagine,' but not before adding: “To know that we lost this man because of a gun and because we don't have laws dealing strong enough with mental illness, we lost a great man.”
Introducing Stevie to the stage was U2 frontman Bono, who credited the soul singer for his extensive work, saying: “The true disciple of Sir Duke. He raises our hopes when he raises his voice! There is only one!” before the pair held their hands up to the crowd in a show of unity.
John Mayer was also on hand to entertain the audience with tracks from his latest album 'Paradise Valley including the reported Taylor Swift diss 'Paper Doll,' 'Wildfire' and Half of My Heart,' while Kings of Leon, who just scored another number one in the UK with their latest album 'Mechanical Bull,' performed new single 'Supersoaker' and previous tracks including 'The Bucket' and 'Sex on Fire.'
Other performers included Janelle Monae, Will.i.am and Elvis Costello. Check out the pics below...
