Adele became one of the top-trending names on Twitter last night when she picked up the Oscar for 'Best Original Song' at the 85th Academy Awards. But who was the man who accepted the award alongside her? Time for us to take a closer look at the work of British music producer, musician and songwriter Paul Epworth, we think...
Adele tearfully thanked her songwriting partner Paul Epworth when she took to the podium at the Oscars 2013 - and, as it turns out, the Brit Award winning musician, producer and songwriter is JUST as much a force to be reckoned with as the 'Skyfall' songstress herself.
Adele's Partner In Crime: Who Is Paul Epworth?

Not only has Epworth worked closely with Adele over the years - co-writing her worldwide number one single 'Rolling In The Deep' - but he has also shared his musical genius with the likes of Friendly Fires, Paul McCartner, Bruno Mars, Florence + The Machine, Kate Nash, Plan B, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, The Futureheads, Azealia Banks, Cee Lo Green and The Big Pink. Phew.
And this 'Best Original Song' Oscar won't be the only one sitting proudly on his mantelpiece; turns out that Paul Epworth has just as much of a reputation for winning awards as his co-writer Adele!
In 2012, Paul Epworth bagged a cool four Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year. He's also had a handful of Mercury Music Prize nominations, a Brit award of his very own and the Music Producers Guild Award for Best producer.
