Adele wins Best Song Oscar for James Bond theme song 'Skyfall'

Adele's Skyfall won the Oscar for 'Best Song' for her title song for the James Bond movie Skyfall.

Co-written with producer Paul Epworth, Skyfall has become the first ever 007 theme tune to win an Academy Award.

Adele was overcome with emotion as she made her thank you speech.

She said, "Thank you so much, this is amazing.

Bursting into tears she added, "I'd just like to thank Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson at Eon, Sony Pictures, MGM and Paul Epworth... And my man, I love you, baby!"

Co-writer Paul Epworth continued, "I can't really believe I'm up here to receive this."

"I've got to thank my wife Danielle and my daughter Vivienne... [also] Joe and Matt who spent hours working on this... and most of all I'd like to thank Adele for being the best person I've ever worked with, she's absolutely amazing."

Adele finished, "You're all amazing, thank you very much!"
