Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has hit back at the rumours suggesting an on set war between himself and fellow The Voice judge Christina Aguilera.
Towards the end of the second season of the hit US show, reports emerged that there had been a lot of backstage bitching, hissy fits and the use of the c-word on set.
The 'Payphone' singer has called the stories ‘BS’ in an interview with MTV News: "We bickered a little bit in the beginning, to be totally truthful, we had a little bit of a rough start, just kind of all getting to know each other.
"But I love her, she's the best, and we're having a fantastic time as of late on the set. She's great, and all of that is sensationalised media BS ... so don't worry about any of that."
The 33-year old puts the rumours down to media speculation and whilst he would rather just talk music understands that people are interested in more.
"It affects you as much as you let it. I mean, I know the deal, so as long as I do, it doesn't matter what people say. Think about if we listened to what people say all the time, imagine how crazy it would make you."
