X Factor contestant Curtis Golden has revealed he just can't understand why Mel B was so nasty to him on Saturday night's show.
On the show, we saw Curtis perform an amazing audition and sail through to boot camp.
However, guest judge Mel B was not so complimentary about his performance, labeling him 'irritating' and saying how he 'overdoes the geeky personality'.
Needless to say, it was a 'no' from her.
omg! had a chat with the 18 year old singer this morning and it seems he can't quite understand why she was so nasty either.
Curtis says: "Everyone was saying she was a bit nasty before my audition but I didn't believe it. After all, she's a Spice Girl whose main fan base was under 10 girls!"
The teenager admits he was most shocked that Mel commented on his personality:
"I don't understand why she criticized my personality — she didn't even say I was putting on an act — she said I was overdoing my personality. I don't understand the logistics of that comment."
"I don't understand how you can be grumpy when you are getting paid to just hear people sing."

Curtis admits that before the audition he was most scared of Gary Barlow, however now understands more than anyone where that 'Scary' title comes from.
"I thought Gary would be the hardest but it turned out to be Mel, I should have known she would have been nasty — she's scary Spice! It finally makes sense — she is Scary Spice because she is utterly terrifying!" he says.
She definitely scared us on Saturday!
So is Curtis still a Spice Girl's fan?
"I need to clarify — I'm not a huge fan, I just liked them as a child! I didn't have a favorite, but I think I had a Geri doll…"
We love Curtis and really hope he makes it through to the live finals.
