X Factor’s Carolynne Poole now DEFENDS Christopher Maloney after he swore at her

The drama surrounding Christopher Maloney is becoming rather difficult to keep up with.

However, following the torrent of Twitter abuse Christopher Maloney seems to be getting, Carolynne Poole has now tweeted to defend him.

Confused much?

Carolynne Poole proved that she's a rather nice girl by taking to Twitter to say: "Please don't send horrible or abusive msg's to Chris or anyone else on here. We can have our opinions but please let's not be mean. Xxx" [sic]

She went on to tweet: "Stating your opinion and on line threats/bullying... Massive difference guys! Not changed my tune, or my opinion on anyone."

The tweet comes just a day after Christopher Maloney begged people to stop the 'online abuse'.

We're not entirely sure what's wrong with Christopher (he's still banging on about being ill) but this weekend saw him have a massive meltdown, turning up to the X Factor final drunk, swearing at Carolynne, being banned from the group song and trying to break back into the studios.

Christopher Maloney then took to Twitter to tell Carolynne she's 'bitter'. Nice.

He said: "you'll do anything to get a headline! disgraceful! week one! bitter" [sic]

Well, if Carolynne's mature enough to defend him, let's hope that this is the end of the saga.
