TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh channels her inner Jessica Rabbit at jewellery line launch

Today saw Lucy Mecklenburgh become the latest reality TV star to launch her very own jewellery range.

As we've seen in the past, these launches are all about making an impression.

And it's fair to say that Lucy did just that.

Posing for the cameras in a figure hugging red dress, Lucy Mecklneburgh seemed to have taken some style advice from a certain iconic film character.

Yes, it seems that Lucy's latest style icon is a fictional cartoon bunny, Jessica Rabbit.

A rather sexy rabbit yes, but a rabbit none the less.

Lucy's girly line, aptly called 'Lucy Mecklenburgh Jewellery,' is being launched by online jewellery retailer DiamondGeezer.com.

Is it us or do the phrases 'girly line' and 'launched by DiamondGeezer.com' seem like they shouldn't belong in the same sentence?

Still, you've got to get the deals where you can- we for one never thought we'd see a Kardashian clothing line being sold at high street store Dorothy Perkins and look what happened there.

In the New Year, Lucy will be auctioning off her favourite piece in the collection for charity.

The piece's name? She's called it, the 'Mecklace'.

Ah, we see what you did there Luce. You're not just a pretty face after all.

Nope, we still have no idea why she's in a bath. Copyright [Wenn]

Last month saw former TOWIE star Amy Childs unveil her latest collection of Jewellery.

Suffice to say, Amy took a somewhat grander approach when it came to the press launch.

Amy posed for the press in a bathtub filled with jewellery while dressed in a skimpy silver bikini.

We're still not too sure what the connection between jewellery and baths was but it seemed to have worked.

Amy managed to sell out her first batch of stock days after the launch.

No pressure then Lucy.
