We spoke exclusively to Big Brother presenter Brian Dowling this morning who revealed that he had heard the TOWIE star could be walking through those famous house doors later this month.
Brian said: "Someone just said to me that they heard Lauren Goodger was going in!"
Brian told us that if Lauren did go in, the public would be likely to support the reality star given her poor track record with men.
He said: "People will want to see her fall in love- that would be quite nice."
"She's been quite unlucky in love, with the whole Mark Wright stuff and trying to date on the show."

If the rumours are true, Lauren would be the third TOWIE cast member to cross the threshold of Britain's most famous bungalow, following in the footsteps of Amy Childs and Kirk Norcross.
However, both Amy and Kirk had to leave TOWIE after the producers told them that they would no longer be welcome to return to the hit reality show if they chose enter the house.
With Lauren now a potential housemate for this year, could we be saying goodbye to another original TOWIE cast member?
Talking about the return of the celebrity edition, host Brian seemed eager for the series to begin.
He told us: "I'm so excited because there has been such a big buzz about it. How excited am I on a scale of 1 to 100? I would say 25 million!"
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother will return to our screens on 15 August, just two days after the final of the current civilian series ends.
Other celebrities who have been rumoured to be going in include ex-Eastenders actress Cheryl Fergison, US TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter, Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle and Corrie legend Julie Goodyear.
This is the second series of CBB this year after the previous series, won by Loose Women star Denise Welch, proved a ratings success for Channel 5 earlier this year.
