So we're rather excited that The British Soap Awards 2014 are on the horizon.

Voting has JUST OPENED for the infamous ceremony in celebration of all things Corrie and Eastenders (other soaps are available) and so here's all you need to know about the awards.

THE VOTING
The first round for viewer voting opened on Monday March 17 and will close on Tuesday 22nd April. Second round voting open at 10am on Monday April 28th before closing on Friday May 23 at 3pm. You can place your vote here on the official website of The British Soap Awards.

THE DATE
The ceremony will take place in May - with the exact date to be confirmed.
