The Girls Aloud singer impressed the judges with her two dances scoring a total of 78 out of a possible 80.
Kimberley's first dance, the American Smooth, gained an impressive 38 points with tough to please Craig Revel Horwood telling the singer: "I would put that dance straight into one of my shows."
Very high praise indeed.
However, it was Kimberley's second dance, a cheeky Charleston, that particularly impressed the judges.

Gaining the top mark of 40, the judges gushed over her performance.
Len told Kimberley: "It was fun, frivolous, everything you want to see in a routine."
Bruno quipped: "Looking good from every angle, a feast for the eyes."
While Craig simply said: "It's the F word darling: FAB-U-LOUS."
We love it when Craig cracks out the F word.
But it wasn't just Kimberley who was ecstatic with her scores.
Her Girls Aloud band mates Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Cole were both down in the audience supporting her tonight.
The two were looking suitably impressed with Kimberley's score of 40, screaming at the top of their lungs when it was announced.
Denise Van Outen also had a great night tonight following her bottom two placing last week, coming second with a total of 77 points.
Dani Harmer came in third with a total 72 while Louis Smith settled for fourth scoring 69 and Lisa Riley finished in fifth with 63.
The results of tonight's Strictly Come Dancing semi-final will air tomorrow night at 6.50pm on BBC1.
