As another judge announces their exit, things aren't looking good for next year's X Factor.
So it's no surprise that Simon Cowell is currently in crisis talks with the show's producers, and is reportedly pulling out all the stops to get Cheryl Cole back.
With Nicole Scherzinger becoming the latest judge set to leave the ITV show it seems that the panel is looking rather empty for 2014 - and needs a big name to attract audiences.

And it seems that Simon has his heart set on the former Girls Aloud star and has told his team to get her back 'at all costs.'
A source told Now magazine: ''With Gary and Sharon also leaving, Simon got on the phone to discuss the situation with Richard and told him they should try and get Cheryl. He knows that would be a great result.''
It seems that Simon could be returning to the panel himself in a bid to save the show, but no final decisions have yet been made.
The source added '' They're planning for a worst case scenario with all three going. Simon knows deep down that ratings would go up if he returned as well, so it could be another exciting shake-up this year.
The former friends famously fell out when Simon axed the singer from the US version, but they recently made up, sparking speculation that a return to the judging panel could be imminent.
Cheryl even made a brief appearance in 2012 when she helped out Gary Barlow at judges houses - suggesting that she's well and truly forgiven Simon.
Finger tightly crossed!
