Simon Cowell says he'll mix up next year's X Factor panel, doesn't rule out Cheryl Cole - EXCLUSIVE

James Arthur has only just been crowned winner of X Factor 2012, but already speculation is rife over the judging panel for the next series.

And with rumours that Tulisa may have been biffed from the line-up and that Cheryl Cole is set to make a spectacular comeback, we quizzed Simon Cowell yesterday when we ran into him at the Britain's Got Talent auditions.

Speaking exclusively to Yahoo! omg!, the media mogul revealed he DOES want to mix things up (so we take it from that Tulisa's out) and REFUSED to rule out Chezza returning (we raised a big eyebrow at this).

Asked if Cheryl was coming back he said: "No-one's decided yet. No-one's contracts have been picked up. There are a series of meetings taking place in a couple of week's time. All the Brits are coming in, all the Americans and we're gonna make some decisions then.

Quizzed if he was going to mix it up he added: "We're going to mix it up, yeah". Before winking at us.

VERY. EXCITING. NEWS.

Although by the sounds of things Cheryl is going to make it pretty hard for Simon to get her back in that famous seat after a source said she was very content with life as it is.

The spy said: "Cheryl is really content with her life at long last. She is enjoying working with Girls Aloud for their reunion tour.”

Meanwhile as much as SiCo loves X Factor, he loves himself just a little bit more as he told us he'd rather see Britain's Got Talent win at the National TV Awards on Wednesday.

With both up for Best Talent Show, Simon told us he'd rather BGT took the gong. He said: "X Factor nomally wins doesn't it. [I'd like to see] either one win, they're both ours. I guess probably Britain's Got Talent because I'm on it."

Lovely and modest as ever.

And fellow judge David Walliams revealed that he was delighted to be back with 'His Simon', telling us that they'd struggled to have two days apart.

"Very excited. We've had two days apart. Which is tough. But we've been Skyping."

We can indeed confirm that the bromance between the pair is most definitely STILL ON, after attending the London auditions.
