Robert Pattinson has made his feelings clear about his nickname. Eek.
When he came to international fame thanks to the Twilight movies, Robert Pattinson picked up the nickname R-Patz and it stuck.
We always thought it was a bit of fun, especially teamed with his on- and off-screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart's nickname KStew but it turns out Robert Pattinson does not agree.

In an interview with the Guardian today, Robert Pattinson said: "I don't understand who invented that thing, 'R-Patz', I want to strangle them."
Robert Pattinson made the bold statement while talking about his new film, Cosmopolis.
The actor said: "When I got this part, every single article that came out, was, 'R-Patz's struggle for credibility!'"
Robert Pattinson also spoke about the perception of him, admitting: "It is surprising the amount of people who think I'm going to be really dumb.
"I think they think anyone who has done teen movies is just an idiot. I don't know, maybe I am. Some of the best actors, if you talk to them, they're not the smartest people in the world."

Robert Pattinson is hoping that his new movie will put a stop to all of the preconceptions, saying: "It was purely because of Cosmopolis that I was thinking, 'You can go and do this as an actor, rather than just as the guy from Twilight, because you've got some foreign value now.'"
Hmm we can't see Robert shaking off R-Patz that easily.
