Rita Ora channels Rihanna’s fish-inspired fashion in scale effect dress

Rita Ora is no stranger to Rihanna comparisons— not only does she possesses the same fearless poise and striking vocals but the singer is equally as experimental with her fashion.

To celebrate hitting the number one spot with R.I.P featuring Tinie Tempah last night, Rita Ora hit West End club Whisky Mist and wore a fishy ensemble, echoing Rihanna's recent aquatic efforts.

The blonde singer ensured all eyes were on her as she wore a leather mini dress complete with fish scale effect sleeves and side panels.

She added the right dimension of attitude with a sharp collar, zip at the front and studded clutch bag.

Rita Ora's getup was clearly a nod to Rihanna's latest look from the Where Have You Been? video which sees the Bajan beauty rock the reptile vibe.

Yesterday, RiRi posted photos on Facebook of her clothes-free body painted with crocodile scales.

The shots show the star being made up with scales covering her chest and spine and there's nothing else to protect her modesty.

At least Rita had the sense to accessorise her scale-dress with more than just heavy eye make-up…

She balanced out her underwater theme with a 'RITA' necklace and rose-gold watch with part Perspex heels.

And while she wouldn't pose for the paps with her rumoured beau, Rob Kardashian, he was definitely in attendance.

Earlier in the day, Rita Ora hit Radio 1 in another underwater-effect ensemble which featured ripples of leather across her chest.

We wonder what Rob makes on this fish-fashion trend (we're secretly hoping it doesn't catch on!)
