Rita Ora and Calvin Harris have messy times at Brits 2013 after party as he celebrates Las Vegas DJ residency

Calvin Harris may have missed out on a BRIT Award this week. But he had a different reason to celebrate after announcing a new DJ residency in Las Vegas.

The mega successful global DJ chose his BRITs 2013 after-party - where the likes of Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, will.i.am and Tinie Tempah partied - to announce the news of his new gig.

And by the looks of things, Calvin Harris had a PRETTY fun time toasting to his new and exclusive residency in Sin City.

The producer tweeted a photo of himself, Rita Ora and Hurts singer Theo Hutchcraft getting rather messy at his bash, which was held at Hakkasan Hanway Place in London.

Calvin tweeted: "Not sure what's going on here" alongside the snap which saw finger-pointing and tongues.

We're not sure either, Calvs.

His DJ residency will be at Hakkasan in Las Vegas, which is set to open this April at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

It will all kick off in April and will see him performing 46 dates. Additionally, he will bring his residency to WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool, also at MGM Grand, creating a daytime experience for fans where they can see the iconic DJ perform for 22 dates.

The DJ today revealed he's heading Stateside to Miami. Alright for some eh?

Meanwhile Calvin Harris also spent BRITs night on Wednesday partying with X Factor star Olly Murs, who missed out on two awards at the swanky ceremony.

The Xtra Factor presenter tweeted: "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't gutted!! Big up to Ben Howard!! Well done."

But he then decided it best to drink away his disappointment with fellow nominee Calvin- choosing Jagermeister as their poison of choice.

Alongside the picture of the two, Olly wrote: "Me & calvin drowning our sorrows with jaeger ;)"
