Considering she has played out most of her adult life on television, it would be safe to assume that once Kim Kardashian gave birth, so would her first child.
Well, it turns out, it was NOT safe to assume this at all.
Kim Kardashian, 32, told chat show host Jimmy Kimmel yesterday that her child wouldn’t be appearing on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ until he or she is old enough to make their own decision.
She said: "It's a tough decision. From the start, as of now, that's just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made. We're going to try to keep it as private as possible."
We have to say, we weren’t expecting this at all.
The reality star did however admit that she loves that her sister Kourtney’s children Mason, 3 and Penelope, 6 months, appear on the programme.
She admitted: "I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV. Mason is the highlight of our show, I think."
Whether Kim Kardashian will stick to this promise once the baby is born, is of course another matter entirely.
And it seems that Kim isn’t the only person laying down the law when it comes to her child.
Kim’s boyfriend Kanye West, 35, has allegedly banned any rap music in their house ahead of the birth.
The rapper reportedly believes that by playing classical music instead, his child will be more intelligent and less likely to follow his footsteps into the music industry.

A source said: Kanye's really soppy. He wants Kim to lay down some vocals while she's carrying his child.
"He thinks it'll be cool for his son or daughter to listen to the track when they're older."
