One Direction to work with McFly on next album, we can’t wait

One Direction are to work with McFly on their second album - news that has made us very excited indeed.

McFly's Tom Fletcher wrote the track I Want for One Direction's debut album, Up All Night which is currently sitting at the top of the US album charts.

However, Tom's revealed that he wants to continue working with the band on their next offering too.

"I can't wait to write more tunes for One Direction as I'm really proud of their success in Amer­ica," he said.

McFly's Tom Fletcher with band-mate Dougie, has written songs for One Direction before / RexTom continued: "I haven't been given a brief as to what kind of song they want from me; we're just waiting to see what I come up with." Well, whatever he comes up with it's bound to be a tune.

Not only do McFly offer their song-writing skills to One Direction, but they also hang out together in the studio.

Tom revealed: "When I've been in the studio with them, the manic atmosphere was just the same as when we made our debut."

Wow - McFly AND One Direction all together in one room? How we'd love to be a fly on that wall.
