Is Nicole Scherzinger putting her relationship with Lewis Hamilton before her X Factor commitments?

The X Factor could be in trouble before it's even begun after reports emerged that new judge Nicole Scherzinger is planning on frequently flying out of the UK to see boyfriend Lewis Hamilton during the live shows stage.

The Sun reports that Nicole will be flying as far as Abu Dhabi and Brazil to make sure that she spends as much time as possible with the F1 driver whose racing commitments means he will be travelling across the globe to compete in a number of competitions.

Nicole and Lewis' relationship has been through a turbulent time of late after pictures of the F1 driver partying with a group of women in his hotel room emerged last month.

The trips, however, look to be costing the 'Don't hold your Breath' singer an arm and a leg with the private flights reportedly being priced at up to £50,000 a pop.

Now that's what we call seriously investing in a relationship.

But with all this jet setting during the live shows stage, when will Nicole have time to mentor her acts?

Last year, Kelly Rowland famously left her acts in the lurch after falling ill during a trip to L.A. leaving Alexandra Burke to fill in for her at the last minute.

This was not '' with show bosses who axed the singer after spending just one year on the panel.

Nicole, who is said to have been paid a cool £750,000 for her services, was previously booted off the US version of the show before joining Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh on the UK series.

Nicole and fellow judge Tulisa may already be at war with each other after both expressed interest in UK rapper Tinie Temper helping them decide which acts to pick for the live shows during the judge's houses stage.

Earlier this week, ITV announced that the show will be returning to our screens on 18 August.
