Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she isn’t sure if she will be returning to the UK X Factor later this year.
The 34-year-old singer exclusively told omg! at last night’s National Television Awards that she is currently focusing all of her attention on her solo career instead.
She told us: “I don’t know yet. You know right now I am focusing on the music- I’m so excited, I’m here to promote my new single Boomerang, BOOM!”
Shameless plug aside, Nicole went on to reveal that she hadn’t yet had ‘the conversation’ about returning to the show with X Factor boss Simon Cowell.
She continued: “So I’m here and I’m focusing on that. We haven’t had the conversation yet about X Factor.”
Nicole did however confess that she enjoyed her stint on the show last year, branding UK citizens as ‘bonkers’.
The singer admitted: “I love the UK, I had the best time last year, you guys are as bonkers as I am!”
We’re not quite sure that’s possible Nicole.
Nicole Scherzinger made quite an impression in her debut year as a judge on the show, taking her acts James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas all the way through to the final two.
Simon Cowell recently told omg! at the Britain's Got Talent London auditions that nothing had been finalised about next year’s X Factor panel.
He said: "No-one's decided yet. No-one's contracts have been picked up. There are a series of meetings taking place in a couple of week's time.
“All the Brits are coming in, all the Americans and we're gonna make some decisions then.”
