Miley Cyrus has taken down a picture of herself looking worryingly skinny from Twitter after followers accused her of being under weight.
The 20-year-old singer, who has been shrinking by the day of late, shared a picture of herself posing in the mirror.
The shocking picture shows the tiny star looking strikingly thin while dressed in black play suit.
Following the picture being uploaded, Twitter users shared their dismay over how much weight Miley has recently lost.
One tweeted: “Miley Cyrus is beautiful and talented but she is getting too skinny and too wild for my liking,” while another wrote: “Miley cyrus is so skinny, I like her better with some meat on her body.”
A further fan tweeted the star directly, writing: “Miley is getting TOO skinny, stop it babygirl. You are fabulous.”
Miley has since taken the picture down from the social networking site but is yet confirm if the comments made on Twitter was the reason.
The singer recently broke Justin Bieber’s record of gaining the most views ever on video site VEVO for her new single ‘We Can’t Stop’.
The video has so far amassed an incredible 33 million views on the site with Miley thanking her fans for their support.
She said: “They're the ones that are getting [my We Can't Stop music video] to be at 33 million views.
“Haters are going to hate, but haters are also going to click on your YouTube video to watch it, so I don't really care.
“You helped me break the record. And if you were watching just to hate on me, now I hold the record, so I win.”
