The Met Gala saw the A-list don their very best red carpet style in New York City on Monday, and feathers were a big trend to fly into the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Schiaparelli and Prada 'Impossible Conversations' Costume Institute Gala last night was a huge trend-spotting opportunity, with metallics, peplum and backless trends all on display.

The dip-dye effect went from burgundy up top to match her lipstick, getting darker as it headed down.
Cate Blanchett also took the feather look to its full extent in her Alexander McQueen gown.
The black full-length number meant Cate Blanchett was covered in feathers from head to toe.
All these feathers almost makes us want to sneeze.
