A spokesperson for Michelle confirmed the break up to Mail Online saying: "They are no longer together."
The reason for the split is currently unclear but it may have something to do Max getting up close and personal with a mystery blonde this week.
The Wanted singer was spotted in a nightclub engaging in a game of tonsil tennis with the unknown, despite Michelle previously claiming that everything was fine between the pair earlier this month.
The couple, who first started dating in 2010 and became engaged in 2011, had previously called off their engagement due to their busy schedules.

With the huge success of The Wanted in the US, Max had been unable to spend time with Michelle, whose commitments to Coronation Street meant that she was based in Manchester.
Just recently Mich told Fabulous magazine that things were "going really well" with the pair - and that the only reason they'd called off the wedding was because they didn't have time in their diaries to set a date.
But just weeks ago she was seen celebrating her birthday party without him in London.
Neither of the two has publicly spoken out about the break up yet with both of their Twitter accounts remaining untouched for days.
We don't know how Michelle and Max are coping with the break-up but one thing is for sure.
It looks like the singles market just got a whole lot hotter.
