Louis Walsh announces X Factor return

Louis Walsh has confirmed he'll be back behind the judges desk on this year's X Factor.

The 59-year-old is very proud to be the only member of the team to be heading into a ninth year.

Louis Walsh also revealed Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow would be joining him on the show, but he isn't sure if Kelly Rowland will complete the line-up this year.

He added to the Mirror that he'd like to see her return, as she worked so hard on the last season.

There have been rumours about who might replace Kelly Rowland on the singing competition show, with Estelle's name in the frame.

Louis Walsh is not the only one confirming his involvement with for another year.

Caroline Flack tweeted she was "super delighted" to be back on Xtra Factor with Olly Murs, although she added she will miss him during the audition rounds.

Olly Murs is off on tour with One Direction in May and June in America, meaning he won't be able to join Caroline for the ITV2 sister show when the judges head out across the country for auditions.

However, he will be back for the live shows, and tweeted that he will definitely be back on Xtra Factor.
