She’s no stranger to writing about her personal life in songs.
But Lily Allen’s decision to boast about her husband’s excellent bedroom skills on one of her new tracks backfired somewhat.
The singers new song L8 CMMR is dedicated to her husband Sam Cooper – namely his on point swordsmanship.
One particularly saucy lyric reads: “My lover/Shoots and scores like he’s Maradona/ Undercover, under the covers/ My man is a bad motherf*****”
What a touching sentiment.
Talking to Shortlist magazine about Sam’s reaction, Lily admitted that he was totally mortified by what he heard.
She said: “Sam was completely embarrassed.”
Speaking about her upcoming highly anticipated third album ‘Sheezus,’ Lily explained that she wanted to create an album with more depth.
Lily explained: “I’m still curious and still want to dig deeper about things.
“I have a lot of questions to be answered.
“I don’t really care about bitching about Katy Perry. To me that was never my edge. That was just sensationalist s***.”
The ‘Hard out Here’ singer recently hit back at critics on Twitter who suggested that she wasn’t spending enough time with Ethel, 2, and Marnie, 1.
She tweeted: "Good morning, I’'m getting a lot of nasty messages in my feed about my children. Thank you for your concern, but I assure you they are fine and are never far away, you just don't see them in pictures because I don't tote them around like accessories."
