It's the first time we've seen Leona Lewis on stage in the UK for what feels like yonks. And the star was super excited to be performing at the Hackney Weekend, as she's from the area.

Speaking ahead of the event, Leona revealed she'd be preparing hard for her performance.

"I do have new material so I'm just deciding what new song I'm going to put into the set. I'm hoping it's going to be awesome and everyone's going to have a good time."

She added: "I'm opening so I've got to put on a bloody good show, innit!"
