Lady Gaga cannabis stunt angers charity

She's always been known for her eccentric behavior but has Lady Gaga gone too far with her latest stunt on stage?

Taking a break from performing, Gaga was offered a marijuana cigarette from an audience member while on stage in Amsterdam.

Rather than following the rules of Grange Hill's 'Just say No', Gaga decided to unwind by lighting up the cigarette

In a video taken by a fan, the singer can be seen taking a drag from the cigarette then exclaiming 'f**k yeah' before throwing the remaining joint to the audience.

Although the drug is not illegal in the Netherlands, Gaga has come under fire for glamourising the use of drugs from leading rehabilitation charity Blenheim CDP.

Chief Executive of the charity John Jolly told the Daily Mail: "I think it's always unhelpful when people in the public eye of a particular influence are seen engaging in drug use."

"Particularly because cannabis use is a significant problem for people under 25 in the UK."

He then added: "The predominant drug we are dealing with in our treatment centres for people under 25-years-old is cannabis so it's particularly unhelpful when things like this happen."

Gaga has previously been very open with her use of the drug, claiming that it has helped her music production on a spiritual level.

She told The Sun: "I want you to know it has totally changed my life and I've really cut down on drinking."

"It has been a totally spiritual experience for me with my music. It's like saying everybody needs to take a breath and it's going to be OK."

We're not sure we like this side of Gaga, we for one are already starting to miss the days when she simply turned up to red carpet events dressed as a lamb chop.
