She’s been in the business for over 25 years.
So who better to be joining The Voice UK as its newest coach than Kylie Minogue?
We can’t wait to see her ‘Spinning Around’ on the famous chairs next year.
Sorry, we couldn’t resist.
The 45-year-old Aussie songstress has been confirmed to appear alongside returning coaches will.i.am and Tom Jones for the third series of the BBC show after Jessie J and Danny O’Donaghue quit their roles earlier this year.
Speaking about joining the show, Kylie admitted that she very much looking forward to finding new talent.
She said: "I'm very excited to become a Coach on The Voice. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series.”
“The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that.”
“Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"
Returning coach will.i.am also expressed his excitement to be back for the third consecutive year.
He said: “While I will miss Danny and Jessie, I’m excited to be returning for Season 3 and to work with Kylie and Tom. Together we will mix it up and bring new energy and ideas to the show.”
Tom Jones meanwhile added: “I’m really looking forward to series 3 of The Voice and although I’ll miss Jessie and Danny, Kylie and the fourth coach will be a welcome addition to the line-up.”
The BBC have stated that they will be announcing the fourth coach in due course.
The Voice UK will be returning for its third run in January 2014 and we for one cannot wait!
