Aussie pop sensation Kylie has been forced to call the police after receiving threatening messages on Twitter.
Last night Kylie Minogue reported a "deluded weirdo" had been tweeting her and alerted authorities.
Instead of keeping this incident as a private police matter, Kylie opted to share the news with her fans, tweeting:
"I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threat #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial So..police alerted"
She later added:
"LOVERS you know who you are! #LoversArmy."
After her posting, Kylie fans immediately began inundating the singer with supportive messages.
With one Twiter user saying: "I hope whoever's threatening @kylieminogue knows there's more than 1,000,000 of us ready to jump to her defence."
The star is no stranger to stalkers though, 700 threatening letters were sent to her home and to her record company in 2003.
And the year before she spoke about how she'd been stalked for five years by a male fan.
Kylie, we hope you'll feel the love soon — millions of us adore you including Alan Carr who says so in our video.
