Kings of Leon have cancelled the rest of their US tour dates due to Caleb Followill "suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion."
Caleb left the stage during their Dallas gig at the weekend, telling the crowd that his voice was wrong and he was too hot, so he would go backstage to drink some beer and then come back... but he never did.
Jared Followill apologised to the crowd on Twitter, saying: "There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed."
He added: "I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."
The band then made the cancellation announcement on their website, saying they are "devastated" but the break is necessary "in order to give their fans the shows they deserve."
The US dates won't be rescheduled because the band has international commitments lined up.
They plan to resume the tour in Canada on September 28, which is the Vancouver show that was meant to take place on September 14.
Nathan Followill took to Twitter to say he's "bummed" about the cancellation and to reassure fans they are not breaking up, explaining they just "need some rest."
Jared also tweeted: "Utterly depressed. It's completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st. If bass solos & backing vocals were more popular, I'd be there."
