Kim Kardashian wants a Kate Middleton style wedding to Kanye West, this obsession is getting serious

Kim Kardashian has always been open about her love for Kate Middleton.

And now it seems that she wants to follow in the princess' footsteps by having her wedding to Kanye West at Westminster Abbey.

Unfortunately for Kim, there are two problems with this.

One, she is still married to estranged husband Kris Humphries.

And two, she isn't a member of the royal family.

A source told "Kim would love to wed at Westminster Abbey like William and Catherine, but that won't be possible."

Yes, according to the rules of Westminster Abbey, the only people who can wed there are members of the royal family, order of Bath members and their children and anyone living in the Abbey's precincts.

We have a feeling that Kim Kardashian doesn't fit into any of these categories.

However, Kim isn't going to let this stop her having her dream wedding and has apparently already started scouting out other venues similar to the Abbey.

The source continued: "Instead she's been looking at castles near London. She wants the most spectacular wedding and she's talking about having guests like Jay-Z and Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna and Katy Perry arrive in horse drawn carriages — just like the royal wedding."

Kim Kardashian previously described Kate Middleton as a 'sweet person' and even sent over a selection of clothes to the princess from her clothing line 'The Kollection'.

Unfortunately for Kim, Kate politely declined the clothes and sent them straight back to the reality star.

We wonder Kate would do the same if she were invited to Kim's wedding?

If we were her we'd definitely say yes, if only to see if Kim could top the wedding of the decade.
