Justin Timberlake on recording new album: It took me 10 years to be taken seriously as a musician

Justin Timberlake clearly likes to keep busy, not only is he preparing for his nuptials to Jessica Biel, he's also forging out a film career but has somehow made time to head back to the studio and make a new album too.

Jim told the website: "[The album is] still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks.

"He has some crazy, crazy stuff."

We can't wait — especially for the video… it'll be a good excuse to see Justin strut his stuff.

And the album will signal a new move in music according to Jim, who has been working with Little Mix and JLS.

"There are certain artists who can get inside with great charisma and energy and make great music every time," he said. "It's not really about topping the last record, it's more about topping music that comes on the radio."

And it won't just be super cool tracks it'll do one better, as the producer added: "Everything is so similar that it's about topping that and doing something different, and that's what they are going for. He's going to kill it."

He sure will, and we doubt he has many nerves either. When we met last met JT he told us that it took him some time to be critically acclaimed with his music.

While promoting his last movie, In Time we asked the star if he was worried about being taking seriously as an actor considering his background in music.

Justin told us: "No, well, it took me 10 years to be taken seriously as a musician but I try not to get caught up in any of that."

Well said JT!
