But just days after Louis Smith was crowned champion of the latest series of Strictly, JLS star JB Gill got his hands on the festive glitterball.

JB Gill took to the dancefloor with hottie professional dancer Ola Jordan on Christmas Day and was dubbed "JIVE BUNNY" by judge Len Goodman, before coming out on tops.

He said: "It feels really, really, really, REALLY good, I'm sure the boys will be proud. I loved it, it was an incredible experience".

Not only did he make the boys proud, he also got his dancer girlfriend Chloe Tangney beaming from ear to ear at the result. She posted: "Well done baby! I love you!! #jivebunny @jlsofficial xx"

And JLS bandmate Marvin Humes' wife Rochelle was also pretty chuffed with his performance, tweeting: "The Jive bunny won woohoo V proud x"

JB was up against star of stage and screen Sheila Hancock dancing with Ian Waite, comedian and television personality Bobby Ball partnered by Katya Virshilas, Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton and Artem Chigvintsev, comedienne Katy Brand with Anton Du Beke, and Footballer Fabrice Muamba, who was partnered with Strictly 2011 professional champion Aliona Vilani.

There was also a Strictly All-Stars group performance featuring a load of our favourite former competitors including Kelly Brook, Rachel Stevens, Tom Chambers, Chris Hollins, Chelsee Healey, Colin Jackson, Russell Grant, Ann Widdecombe, and original Strictly champion Natasha Kaplinski.

Len said of JB's dance: "JB, I'll tell you what it stands for - jive bunny! Hopping and bopping! It wasn't contained; it was full on and flat-out. For one week of training, that was fantastic!"

The Christmas special featured a performance from rock and roll legend, Rod Stewart, singing his Christmas fave Let It Snow.
