Jennifer Lopez breaks breaks down on stage after singing about love *AWWW*

When Jennifer Lopez announced her split from husband Marc Anthony this summer, she seemed to be confident and sure of her decision.

But after only a few months, it's hardly surprising the strain and pain of a breakup has started to show.

The singer cried on stage this weekend as she belted out an acoustic version of 'If You Had My Love' at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, America.

We're not sure whether it was the emotion of the song that made JLo cry or if it was the four dancers representing her exes, P Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony taking to the stage.

Surely seeing lookalikes of all your prominent exes would set anybody off! We're not sure whose idea it was to put them on stage dancing around the now single star, but we reckon it was a bad one!

Jennifer is clearly a broken woman as the tears flowed although like the pro she is, she made it to the end of the song before blubbering. Aww *sad face*

Apparently, Jennifer then got so emotional she had to leave the stage. A source said: "At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments."

"She held it together for one song but then ran off crying. She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her."

JLo emerged to sing a few more songs but gig goers said her energy was no longer there.

The track which was originally released in 1999 and remixed at a later stage, features the lyrics:

'I don't want you trying to get with me and I end up unhappy, I don't need the hurt and I don't need the pain.'

She introduced the song to the crowd saying: 'As the last song I wrote about love, a lot has changed since then.'

Singing about love is probably the worst thing you can do when you're heartbroken. We think JLo should play some Lady Gaga tracks, eat ice cream and seek comfort in rumoured new beau Bradley Cooper.

Gosh, breakups really are rubbish aren't they?
