Jennifer Lawrence urges girls to 'stop calling each other fat' and opens up about her crush on Justin Timberlake and her deepest insecurity - EXCLUSIVE

The last thing we heard from her on the subject of weight were the words 'they can go f*** themselves' aimed at those around her trying to control her diet.

And now Jennifer Lawrence has hit out at weight critics again, this time giving a heart-warming statement urging young girls to 'stop calling each other fat'.

Jennifer Lawrence and director Frances Lawrence chatted to Yahoo's CEO, Marissa Mayer.

During her exclusive Q&A with Yahoo's CEO, Marissa Mayer, she said: "Screw the people who judge you. I experienced it in school before I was famous.

"The world has this idea that if you don't look like an airbrushed perfect model… You have to see past it. You look how you look, you have to be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That's just dumb.

"There are shows like The Fashion Police that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it's OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat.

"They call it 'fun' and they say 'welcome to the real world' - and that shouldn't be the real world, it's going to continue being the real world if we keep it that way. We have to stop treating each other like that and stop calling each other fat.

"There are unrealistic expectations for women, it's disappointing that the media keeps it alive and fuels that fire. It's something that really bothers me - because I love to eat."

And while the 23-year-old - who was chatting with Yahoo to promote The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - might come across as super confident, she says she struggles with plenty of her own insecurities.

Jennifer Lawrence - who showed off her new short hair cut - urged girls to 'stop calling each other fat'.
Showing off her new pixie haircut, Jennifer also opened up about her biggest anxiety - admitting that how she comes across in the media leaves her panicked that one day she'll be hated.

She added: "I worry about - now we're getting deep into my insecurities - I worry that people are so fickle that people will start hating what I hate about myself. That I'm going to be really annoying and everybody's just going to want me to shut up.

"Which would make so much sense, because I annoy myself, I get nervous and I just 'BLAH', I have to tell myself to calm down [so I don't come across in a crazy way]."

Jennifer also admitted that her secret celebrity crush is Justin Timberlake - although he would have to go back to his NSync nineties perm for her to really be interested.

She admitted: "My teen crush was Justin Timberlake, 90s Justin Timberlake, though. I remember when I bought the NSync CD and I was listening to it and I was flipping through the album sleeve and I was getting so overwhelmed with hormones that I almost threw up."

Joking about her various red carpet faux pas and her Oscars fall - she said Katniss' wedding dress was way more uncomfortable than that Oscars gown, fyi - Jennifer admitted she'd take a few cringeworthy moments back if she could.

She joked: "Every day we cringe at something. I wish my publicist were here, she'd know the worst. I did call Bill Clinton 'Gill Clinton' while I was presenting to him.

"Oh, and last year at the Golden Globes when I said 'I beat Meryl Streep' and I thought everyone would know that was a joke - but no body did. If I could take moment back I would ... oh, and falling on my face."
