The 25-year-old X Factor winner took to Twitter, hitting out at the ‘Hall of Fame’ hit makers.
James posted: "Who's James Arthur?" .. He was the dude keeping you off the top spot for weeks.. Sights set higher than the voice #whereisthelove”
The angry ‘Impossible’ singer clearly took offence to Danny, 32 and Will’s, 38, reaction when they were asked at The Voice press conference.
James had previously auditioned for the show prior to taking part in The X Factor.
Will said: “Who’s James Arthur? I never heard of him....I like X Factor, but I haven’t seen the one in UK.”After being informed by a producer that James had unsuccessfully auditioned for The Voice last year, Danny also admitted to never hearing of him. He claimed:“I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000 people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented to us, so he obviously didn't make it through to that part.”
James’ debut single ‘Impossible’ became the fifth highest selling single of 2012- with 1.3 million copies being bought in total.
‘Hall of Fame’ by will.i.am and The Script sold half as many copies last year.
This is not the first time that James Arthur has piped up on Twitter to air his grievances.
The X Factor winner previously had Twitter beef with former champion Matt Cardle and Frankie Boyle.
