Here at omg! we’re very excited about tomorrow’s BRIT awards, namely to see who will be crowned victorious and who will be left to politely clap at their allocated seat.

Well now, thanks to the magic of technology, we’ve all been given a clearer idea of who those winners will be- namely James Arthur, Lana Del Rey and Emeli Sande.

The big wigs at music streaming company Spotify have been hard at work analysing UK music lover’s listening habits over the past 12 months from all the nominated BRIT award acts.

From their data they have managed to predict who will be walking away with the big prizes at tomorrow’s ceremony.

And before you scoff it’s worth knowing that when they did this same analysis for this year’s Grammy Awards, they correctly predicted four out of every six cases.

James Arthur’s X Factor winner’s single ‘Impossible’ gained the most plays on Spotify making him the front runner to win this year’s ‘British Single’ accolade over the likes of Rita Ora and One Direction.

Sultry US sensation Lana Del Rey topped the listens gained by rivals Rihanna and Taylor Swift putting her in pole position to pick up ‘International Female Solo Artist’.

Olly Murs could be left empty handed tomorrow with Calvin Harris set to take home ‘British Male Solo Artist’.

The 'Army of Two' singer recently admitted that he would prefer a BRIT than a girlfriend right now as he is focused on his career.

He said: "I'd rather have a BRIT Award than a girlfriend. I'm sure a girl will come along and sweep me off my feet, but at the moment my head's very much firmly on my music."

Award winner extraordinaire Emeli Sande- who is nominated for four awards- looks likely to win ‘British Female Artist’ over Paloma Faith, Bat for Lashes, Jessie Ware and the late Amy Winehouse.

However, folk group Mumford & Sons look set to be the biggest winners of the night, being predicted to win ‘British Album of the Year’, ‘Best British Group’ and ‘British Live Act’.

Finally, Mercury winner’s Alt-J-who are set to do battle with Rita Ora and Jake Bugg- look the most likely to take home ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’.

We look forward to seeing if these predictions prove at all accurate come tomorrow night.
