Helen Flanagan makes embarrassing style slip-up as she shows off streaky fake tan lines - didn't check the mirror?

There's no denying that she's had her fair share of fashion faux pas in her time.

And Wednesday was no different for Helen Flanagan as she was spotted out with unsightly fake tan lines on her hands.

But the former soap star seemed unfazed by her style slip-up as she grinned for the cameras, obviously unaware of her streaky skin.

Helen, who was sporting a seriously unnatural orange glow, had clearly not bothered to wash the excess lotion from her hands before leaving it to dry the night before. Eek.

The Celebrity Super Spa celeb admitted on Twitter that she was having to apply her own fake tan after failing to get a spray-tan appointment.

She wrote: ''Couldn't get a spray tan today so attacked a bottle of St tropez haha chilled in my onesie.''

That same day, Helen had stopped by a hair salon to get her locks dyed bright blonde - making her new skin tone look even more orange.

The single star is certainly no stranger to the odd bit of fake tan, and once admitted that she booked an emergency appointment for the middle of the night when she was feeling too pasty. Hmm.

Helen's may have something to do with landing a new role as a judge - yes, a judge - on a new talent show.

She will join Georgia Salpa and Rhian Sugden on the new Bolton-based programme that kicks off later in the month. We predict that it'll be must-see TV.

Celebrity Twitpics: Cheryl Cole attended Kimberley Walsh’s book launch this week, and took time to pose next to a mirror with the message: “When I'm good, I'm very, very good. When I'm bad I'm better.” And judging by her pensive pose, it’s a quote she can relate to. Copyright [Instagram] less
