Harry Styles was clearly swept up in Royal Baby mania but was left feeling bemused by the US coverage he was watching of Prince William and Kate Middleton emerging from the hospital.
The 19-year-old singer took to Twitter to air his annoyance over a gaffe made by an American journalist.
He tweeted: "An American reporter just said on tv, "They just look like a normal happy family, Kate, the baby and Charles." Have a word. (sic)"
Perhaps the reporter was simply overwhelmed by yesterday’s royal unveiling.
Harry previously sent his congratulations to William (not Charles) and Kate when it was announced that she had given birth to their first son.
He wrote: "Congratulations to Will and Kate on the birth of their baby. A king is born."
On leaving the hospital last night, the couple, both 31, revealed that they are yet to decide on a name for the future King.
William told the press: "He's got a good pair of lungs on him that's for sure.
He's a big boy, he's quite heavy.
"We're still working on a name so we'll have that as soon as we can, but it's the first time we've seen him really so we're having a proper chance to catch up."
The royal baby was born on July 22 at 4.24 pm weighing in at 8lbs 6oz.
