Harry Styles’ mum is worried that his love of tattoos is getting ‘out of hand’

Harry Styles could find himself being sent to bed with no dinner by his Mum if his obsession with getting tattoos continues.

The 18-year-old One Direction singer is no stranger to getting himself inked- tallying more than thirty tattoos last year alone.

However, Harry’s mum Anne Cox has now stepped in to say that enough is enough, successfully convincing him not to get a tattoo of his name in Japanese calligraphy during One Direction’s recent trip to Tokyo.

A source claims: "Harry’s mum is worried his tattoo collection is getting out of hand. She thinks he’s getting addicted to sitting in the artist’s chair.

“She’s concerned about the lasting effects of the scribbles all over his body and thinks he could live to regret some of them.”

Although Harry Styles’ mum probably knows best, the source added that it would be no surprise if he went against her better judgment and got another tattoo in secret.

The source continued: “Harry loves the Japanese symbols. He’s determined to have Japanese calligraphy on him. It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets it done sneakily.”

The teen’s Mum is also convinced that the tattoos are causing Harry problems with his skin.

The source explained: “Harry has had over 30 tattoos in the last year. His mum is also concerned the ink could be the reason he gets such bad skin.

“She’s told him he’ll get even more spotty if he continues, not just on his face.”

And it’s not only Mother Styles who has advised Harry calm his love of body art down.

Boss Simon Cowell has also had a word with the singer.

“Simon gave him some gentle advice suggesting he gives it a break for a while and reassess,” the insider claimed.

Now it’s one thing to ignore your Mum, but we would certainly think twice before disregarding Simon Cowell’s advice.
