Girls Aloud return with a bang on Children in Need, Nadine looks beyond excited to be pop star again

Last night saw Girls Aloud make their official return to the stage as part of this year's Children in Need.

And what a return it was.

Dressed in matching orange tulip dresses, the fivesome strutted their stuff as they performed come back track and official single for the charity 'Something New'.

This was the first time that all five girls had performed with each in three years with one band member looking more excited about this fact than the others.

Nadine Coyle well and truly threw herself into the performance, pulling an array of excitable facial expression and at one point, decided to sing in fellow member Nicola Robert's face.

Well it's nice to see she's happy to be a pop star once again.

You can watch the girls return here.

Backstage however was a different story with the confident Nadine admitting that she found the whole experience incredibly nerve wracking.

She said: "That was nerve-wracking! Was that a mistake I made there? Was I supposed to walk forward? All those nervous things!"

On stage, Terry Wogan probed the girls on whether there had been any fallings out during rehearsals.

Denying that there were any rifts between them Cheryl Cole answered: "What disagreements? It might be more fun backstage if we did, but we actually don't - no drama!"

Kimberley Walsh then added: "We've all fallen back into our roles it's as if nothing ever changed. It really does just feel so good to be here."

The girls returned to the stage later on in the show to sing new ballad 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' looking the height of sophistication and glamour in an array of floaty frocks.

All in all, a rather successful comeback we think.

Welcome back girls.
