We've been waiting years for Girls Aloud to reform and start recording new material, but until now we worried it was just wishful thinking.

Nadine Coyle is the first member of Girls Aloud to tweet the reunion news, saying: "Tody in stufio again making magic with the original dream team Brian Higgins and Xenomania. Be prepared to be amazed" [sic]

Nadine went on to tweet: "Singing so much! I think I can taste blood. Wow! You should know I am pretty dramatic! Hahaha.." [sic]

This news has made us want to get up and do a little dance.
Over the weekend, rumours surfaced that Girls Aloud are to record the Children in Need single - we're hoping that both this and perhaps a new album are in store.
