Ed Sheeran cancels tour dates, forced to deny it’s due to rehab

Ed Sheeran has had one hectic year, so we're not surprised that the singer is feeling a bit shattered.

However, when we heard that Ed Sheeran had cancelled some of his US tour dates, we were concerned.

Ed Sheeran was due to be supporting Snow Patrol on their US tour dates, however today he's announced that he's pulling out of four dates due to 'personal reasons'.

Speculation began mounting that Ed was going into rehab - something which worried us even more.

Ed Sheeran won two BRITs this year / WENNEd Sheeran announced that he was leaving the tour early, tweeting: "I'll be back in September, so sorry to cancel, have to get home for personal reasons."

However, Ed was then keen to deny the reports that the 'personal reasons' were anything to do with rehab. He continued to tweet a jokey message to his followers.

But yeah, no rehab just yet, but i am going to legoland in a few weeks, so might need it after that." [sic]

We're not surprised Ed wants a few days off to chill with his family - after a crazy year in which he's had a number one album and won two BRIT Awards, we think he deserves some lazy time.
