Ed Sheeran admits he passed out DRUNK at Jennifer Aniston's house - and that he DID set up his flatmate, Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, with Courteney Cox - EXCLUSIVE

We thought it was a pretty odd Thanksgiving supper as it was.

But not only did Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Aniston enjoy a turkey dinner together, he also set up his best friend with her best friend before passing out beside the Hollywood star's pool.

Ed Sheeran spent Thanksgiving eve with Jennifer Aniston.

Ed sparked confusion when he tweeted a snap of himself having dinner with JenAn on Thanksgiving, which became a little clearer when it was rumoured that his flatmate, Johnny McDaid from Snow Patrol was dating Courteney Cox.

And now the 22-year-old has exclusively confirmed that it was all his doing - and what really happened at Jennifer's exclusive bash.

He told omg!: "I wasn't allowed to talk about this, actually, but it's just gone public so... My housemate [Johnny], who I have lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney and they started dating - now they're crazy about each other.

"I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving eve at Jennifer's before spending the day at Courteney's."

Clearly amazed that he's even on first name terms with Jennifer, Ed was totally taken aback when he used just her first name in our interview, laughing and adding: "'Jennifer'... what the f***?!'

But it didn't stop him getting into the merriment of the day, admitting to us that he was so drunk by the end of the night that he passed out beside her pool.

He added: "I passed out... she has this crazy house with a big staircase that goes down to the pool. I had drunk a bit too much and needed a time out, so I went down and laid on one of the beds outside by the pool and passed out there."

Clearly feeling the hangover the next day, he added: "Courteney's was a bit more tame."

Ed Sheeran's song, 'I See Fire', features in 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug', which is out in cinemas today.
