The line up for new series of Dancing on Ice has only just been announced but already one of the professionals has found themselves getting into a few close shaves with their celeb partner.

Professional ice skater Matt Evans, who has been paired with Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson (we still can't quite believe she's on it either), has admitted that he and Pammy have already gotten into a few scrapes.

Talking on ITV1's Daybreak this morning, Matt, who was at the receiving end of partner Jorgie Porter's blade last year, revealed that he and Pamela have got into similar, albeit less serious, situations during training.

He said: "The last serious injury I got was the skate blade to the forehead. No scars, so we're all good, but yes, I've had a couple of scrapes from Pam and those blades are sharp."

Not that Matt particularly cares.

The professional skater admitted that he couldn't believe his luck when he found out he had been partnered with the pin up.

He said: "I cannot tell you, I pinch myself every day.

"We've been together now for about two months. The celebs get a couple of weeks on their own before they get their professional.

"And then I started with her at the beginning of November and I go into work every day and let me tell you what, Christmas has come early."

We think someone may be a fan.

Pamela Anderson has already appeared on two series of Dancing with the Stars in the US where she didn't exactly set the dance floor on fire.

Let's hope it's third time lucky for Pammy.

Although with the added element of ice, it doesn't bode too well.
