Along with announcing this year’s nominees earlier this evening, the BRITs confirmed who would be gracing the stage and performing when the ceremony takes place on 20 February.
This is of course a huge coup- with the BRITS being responsible for many iconic performances in the past.
Remember- it was the BRITS where Geri Halliwell premiered her now infamous Union Jack dress.
This year One Direction are among the select few who have been honoured with performing at the ceremony.

With 2012 proving that the boys weren’t planning on going away anytime soon it is no surprise that they have been asked to perform.
One D have certainly come a long way since the days of X Factor.
Robbie Williams will also be performing on the night but unlike last year, he will be going it alone.
After staging a successful comeback with number one single ‘Candy’ and album ‘Take the Crown,’ Robbie is truly back at the top of his game.
And what would a British ceremony be without a performance from Emeli Sande?
After performing at BOTH the opening and closing Olympic ceremonies and appearing just about everywhere last year it would be madness not to ask her.
Of course February 20 looks set to Emeli’s night- not only will she be performing but she will almost certainly be picking up an award or two after gaining four nominations.
There really is no stopping her.
Other acts set to perform include Muse, Mumford & Sons and Ben Howard.
Roll on February we say.
