The actor is even believed to have even cheekily asked his ex wife whether to save a date.

However, with Brad believed to be getting married again soon too, it's probably best so they don't end up clashing dates.

The source says: "Brad gave Jen a quick call to say how pleased he was to hear that she was getting married."Brad and Jen were married for five years. Copyright: [rex]

We know it's her ex, but can you imagine answering the phone to 'Hi, it's Brad Pitt here!'.

The source continued: "He jokingly asked if he should 'save the date', and they both laughed, but told her in all seriousness that he was really happy for her and Justin."

We bet Jen did one of those super loud nervous laughs at the thought he might actually mean it — can you imagine anything more awkward than your ex turning up to your wedding?

And despite the fact that he left her for Angelina, Jen is believed to have sent her best wishes right back at him:

"Brad and Angelina are due to marry in the next few weeks and she wished him all the best for his wedding, too."

So do these two have regular phone dates then? Angelina rest assured: it was a one off.

The source says: "Brad and Jen don't get in touch that often as they've both moved on with their lives."

However, Jen is still believed to  be close to Brad's mum who might even receive an invite to the wedding!

"Jen does still chat to his mum, Jane, so there are rumours in Hollywood that she will make an appearance at the wedding".

"But the guest list hasn't even been started yet, so it's too early to say for sure."

We obviously know it hasn't been started, or else we would have received our invite by now.
