This morning the first trailer for One Direction’s first film was aired.
Yes, they’re making films now as well as music (and taking over the world).
The short trailer was shown on this morning’s Daybreak, revealing what fans can expect from the film.
The clip shows exclusive behind the scenes footage of the band as they embark on their first world tour- showing fans what it is like to be a member of One Direction.
The boys also talk openly about their friendships in the group with Zayn Malik explaining:"As a group, we're stronger then if there was five people by themselves"
Liam Payne meanwhile says: "I always wanted a little brother and now I've got four of them.”
According to the press release, fans can look forward to experiencing life as a member of One Direction- all in glorious 3D.
The release reads: “It’s an access all areas film that goes behind the scenes to see what it is like to part of One Direction.
“Fans will become part of the 1D family, experiencing the boys as they embark on their first world tour.”
The film was directed by film maker Morgan Spurlock, famous for his award winning documentary ‘Supersize Me’.
When asked why he decided to make the project, Spurlock admitted that he wanted to understand what it was about Zayn, Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis that made them such a phenomenon.
He explained: "These guys have gotten so huge in such a short amount of time - why?
"What makes them more special than any other people?"
Well we guess we’ll find out when the film is released later on this year.
