Beyonce baby diet secret: Lettuce

Beyonce looked simply uh-mazing just weeks after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy and now she's revealed the secret to her post-baby diet.

Lettuce.

We always think Bey is a pretty good role model for curvy women so we're a bit gutted that her secret to looking body fantastic boils down to a few leaves.

And we're even more upset that she pounded the treadmill (what's one of those) whilst eating just salad.

Beyonce told fans at a gig this weekend: "Y'all have no idea how hard I worked. I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!"

The 'Run The World' songstress explained that she's now craving sweet stuff (well so would we if we had to eat like a squirrel).

She added: "Now tonight I'm gonna get chocolate wasted."

Earlier in the month Beyonce revealed that her weight loss was down to breast feeding Blue Ivy.

She told People mag: "I lost most of my weight from breast-feeding and I encourage women to do it; it's just so good for the baby and good for yourself.

The bootylicious babe also added: "I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running."
