And that means pretty red carpet dresses, hunky actors in suits and some kind of weird stunt by Sacha Baron Cohen.

Amongst the ladies up for the prestigious awards are some of our favourite girls, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is up for Best Actress for her role in 'Silver Linings Playbook', while brunette beauty Anne Hathaway is nominated as Best Supporting Actress for Les Mis.

And that can only mean one thing: RED CARPET FROCK EYE CANDY.

Gorgeous 'The Help' star Jessica Chastain is also up for Best Actress is 'Zero Dark Thirty' and is known for pulling a glamourous dress out of the bag on nights like these. As is French star Marion Cotillard for 'Rust and Bone'.

And talking of EYE CANDY, we can be assured a drool or two over some hunky actors in suits after both Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper got nods in the Best Actor category.
