Ant and Dec rejoice over public’s decision not to vote Helen Flanagan in for ANOTHER trial, wanted to kiss Hugo Taylor

It seems that Helen Flanagan isn't the only person who has been having a tough time of it on this year's 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here'.

She may have been voted in by the public to take on seven Bushtucker trials in a row but this is nothing compared to what host's Ant and Dec have had to endure.

Throughout Helen's hissy fits and screams, the Geordie duo have been forced to smile and encourage the squeamish celeb, something they were glad not to put up with after yesterday's public vote.

For the first time this series, Helen avoided being chosen by the public to take part in the Bushtucker trial, instead deciding that posh boy Hugo Taylor should face his fears instead.

And it seems that Ant and Dec couldn't be happier.

Talking to Jeff Brazier on This Morning, the presenters admitted they were happy not to see Helen in the Bushtucker clearing.

Dec told Jeff: "You don't even know the half of it,"

Ant explained:"When Hugo came down to do the trial today, it was like 'Hallelulah'!"

Dec then added: "I could've kissed him!"

Steady on boys.

It seems that Ant and Dec were just as fed up with Helen not completing the trials as viewers.

Ant explained: "We got to see the whole trial, every part of it... so it was nice just to see them - we got so many text and tweets saying 'we just wanna see the trials' so we've seen one now and he gave it a good go."

With exception of two trials, Helen's track record has been rather dismal, however, it seems that Hugo may have done significantly better than the Corrie actress.

Dec said, "I shouldn't really... but he did alright. He did quite well but he was having a bad morning in camp and he was honestly really very nervous.

"It was a hideous trial he had to do - it was smelly and dirty and a lot of critters and rats and stuff involved so he did pretty well considering.... they'll be happy tonight, they'll have a bit of food tonight."

'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' continues tonight at 9pm on ITV 1.
